NHL Hockey Odds: Calgary Flames Odds to win the 2012 Stanley Cup

Jarome Iginla had another strong season for the Calgary Flames last year, but it wasn't enough to get his team into the playoffs in the NHL's Western Conference. Iginla can't do it alone – so who's going to help him out in Calgary this time around?
The team captain led the way with 43 goals and 86 points last year for a Flames club that ended up 41-29-12 and three points back of a playoff berth. No one else on the team had more than 70 points or 25 goals.
Alex Tanguay provided some secondary scoring for the Flames last season with 22 goals and 69 points, while Olli Jokinen had another middling campaign with 17 goals and 54 points to go along with a -17 rating.
Those two are back this year along with winger Lee Stempniak, who they picked up in a trade with the Coyotes in the offseason. As well, former first-round pick Mikael Backlund will get a shot to stick on a scoring line after he put up 38 points last year.
The team's second tier of forwards includes Rene Bourque, Curtis Glencross, Brendan Morrison and David Moss.
On the blueline Mark Giordano led the way last season with 43 points, while Jay Bouwmeester managed just 24 points in his 82 games. Gone for this year is Robyn Regehr, with the shutdown defender shipped to the Sabres over the summer.
Miikka Kiprusoff had 37 wins between the pipes for the Flames last year, but his save percentage of .906 was down from the previous season (.920). Calgary needs their netminder at the top of his game if they're going to get back into the playoffs.
